The National Football League team in Washington, D.C., will officially retire the team’s name and logo, the membership introduced Monday. A brand new name was not introduced.
The group, which had its name since 1932, launched a assessment of its name after companions and sponsors started to criticize the team for failing to acknowledge the sensitivity relating to the name and logo to Native Americans.
