Salve mentioned that even he had appeared in the identical matter and he don’t have any objection with the CJI led bench listening to the case.

Sundaram additionally concurred with Salve and mentioned that all of them seem for some firm or the others and he additionally doesn’t have any objection.

The CJI mentioned that nowadays such points probably create issues at a later stage.

The bench famous in its order, “Today when the matter was taken up for hearing, this Court disclosed to the Bar that Shrinivas Bobde, learned counsel, has been appearing on behalf of a subsidiary company of Shapoorji Pallonji Group at Mumbai in a matter regarding slum rehabilitation for about two years.”

It mentioned, “Senior counsel/counsel appearing for the parties’ viz, Harish N Salve, AM Singhvi, CA Sundaram, Mohan Parasaran, Shyam Divan, Fereshte D Sethna, etc, have stated that they have no objection to this Court deciding the present matters.”

The bench mentioned the joint assertion made by counsel showing for the events is being taken on report.

Sundaram, who resumed his arguments, referred to varied authorized provisions and judgments associated to winding up of the businesses.

The listening to remained inconclusive and continued on Tuesday.

Earlier, the Tatas had opposed as “nonsense” the Shapoorji Pallonji Group’s proposal that its 18.37 p.c stake within the Tata Sons, which it claims to be price Rs 1.75 lakh crore, be swapped with the shares within the Tata group’s listed firms.

The SP group is in search of professional-rata shares in Tata group’s listed firms in lieu of its 18.37 stake in Tata Sons Private Ltd (TSPL), the holding firm of group corporations.

Earlier, the Tatas had advised the courtroom that the valuation of 18.37 per cent shares owned by the SP Group in Tata Sons is between Rs 70,000 crore and Rs 80,000 crore.

The SP Group mentioned nevertheless that it was price Rs 1.75 lakh crore.
