Coronavirus Outbreak: PHD Chamber Commerce and Industry contributes Rs 528 cr towards PM-CARES Fund – Firstpost

New Delhi: The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) on Thursday mentioned it has contributed Rs 528 crore towards the PM-CARES Fund to assist combat in opposition to the coronavirus pandemic.

During this worldwide disaster, the Chamber by its member organisations, state chapters and secretariat have responded to the attraction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, by coming ahead with a contribution of Rs 528 crore to the PM-CARES Fund, mentioned PHDCCI President D Ok Aggarwal.

A cheque of the full contribution was formally handed over to Bhartiya Janata Party General Secretary Ram Madhav, the chamber said.
