Biden administration to buy an additional 100 million doses of J&J’s Covid vaccine

The U.S. plans to buy 100 million additional doses of Johnson & Johnson‘s Covid-19 vaccine, two administration sources informed NBC News.

President Joe Biden will announce the plans Wednesday throughout a White House assembly with executives from J&J and Merck.

J&J at the moment has a take care of the U.S. authorities to present 100 million doses by the top of June. The federal authorities shipped out practically 3.9 million doses of the single-shot vaccine final week and says it plans to distribute 16 million extra by the top of this month.
